An exciting opportunity has arisen for a business support officer to support Children Social Care with administrative functions for a new programme of works in a small team.

Engaging with multiple stakeholders with a new initiative across Plymouth that will ensure families get the support they need, as soon as they need it.

We are delighted that Plymouth City Council is one of 75 local authority areas nationally to be eligible for Start for Life/Family Hubs funding for the next 2.5 years.


This programme seeks to reshape the way Early Help services are developed and delivered for Plymouth families across all services to provide local support where it is most needed.

The role will support the partnerships involved in the development of Start for Life and Family Hubs across Plymouth.

For example co-ordinating and organising the administration of the sub groups, managing the share point storage of work programmes and plans, establishing a diary of meetings on behalf of the project and organising events across the city that support wider engagement with the programme.

Also helping to monitor project outcomes and outputs using data monitoring from computerised systems to provide to the Government. We are looking for someone with a high level of verbal and written communication, professionalism and organisational skills.

As well as knowledge of ICT systems and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with a view to produce reporting.


Qualifications
‐ (HCC) 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths (C and above)

£11.18 per hour
