6 Month contract – Inside IR35Hybrid (2-3 days a week in the office) - Solihull
This major European Financing Group require a Buyer to join their procurement team on a 6 month contract.nThe Procurement team are responsible for securing supplier contracts that ensure the balance between cost reduction, value engineering and risk management.
As a Buyer, you will work with the business and the wider procurement team to conduct procurement activities in line with internal policies, best professional practice and agreed contracts such as shaping procurement processes and help create Governance packs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and evaluate service providers based on factors such as expertise, quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.nNegotiate contracts and agreements with service providers to ensure favourable terms and conditions, including pricing, scope of work, performance metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs).nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and specifications, and develop sourcing strategies to meet those needs, providing appropriate advice and support.nConduct market research and analysis to identify potential service providers, industry trends, and best practices.nLead (RFx) process for contracts under remit, including drafting documents, evaluating proposals and selecting qualified vendors.nCoordinate with business, legal and finance teams to review and approve contracts, ensuring alignment with policies and regulations.nUse Central procurement software to identify contracts review cycle, maintain accurate records and generate reports on purchasing activities and performance metrics.nComply with central and regulatory control framework.
