At Leonardo, we have a fantastic new opportunity for a Sustainability Officer.This role is part of the Future Combat Air (FCA) Line of Business within the Electronics Division of Leonardo. The Division designs, builds and manufactures complex electronic systems and services for the global defence market.
FCA acts as a Prime Contracting Office on behalf of the division for large-scale contracts, such as TEAM TEMPEST and the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), as well as developing a number of our own products associated with the architecture and integration of large, system of systems.
As a Sustainability Officer, you will hold a significant role in the Transformation Team within FCA, focussed on delivering the transformation activities in support of GCAP.
This role will play a significant role in supporting the delivery of sustainability initiatives in line with the strategic roadmap and plan.
As a Sustainability Officer, reporting to the FCAS Sustainability Lead, you will be responsible for:- Support the implementation of corporate and programme specific policies within FCAS that promote sustainability.
- Establish and maintain a network of internal stakeholders, through which initiatives will be delivered.
- Conduct sustainability assessments, such as materiality, against the agreed frequency.
- Ensure timely and highquality support to the delivery of sustainability initiatives outlined in the strategic plan.
- Prepare case studies, working with internal stakeholders, in support of wider evidence gathering and communication to external stakeholders.
- Facilitate and support awareness sessions internally, and support the development of training material.
- Utilize data, insights, and knowledge to develop targeted improvement opportunities and track progress.
- Assist in the process of collecting and recording data for monthly/weekly customer and internal reports.
