The purpose of this post is to support the Head of Content and Digital in coordinating, scheduling, planning and delivering work as part of the Content and Digital team.


The post holder's key responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the Website Officer
  • writing website copy, performing corrections to pages, uploading website content, maintaining seasonal changes to page content etc.
  • Supporting the Digital Content Officer scheduling filming and photo shoots, arranging travel, coordinating people and resources, assisting with production and postproduction of assets.
  • To field digital content queries (e.g. from colleagues and partners), dealing with these or directing to other colleagues as appropriate as the first line of response to enquiries into the Content and Digital team.
  • Working closely with the Marketing & Student Recruitment Officers at each campus to schedule, manage and correctly brand/format their content.
  • Campaign support in partnership with our appointed marketing agency.
  • To maintain documentation and databases that are relevant to the team scheduling spreadsheet for directorate activities, website content schedule etc.
  • Managing the digital image archive for SRUC and ensuring uploads of new assets are performed timeously and efficiently and clearing out old, unused content to maximise storage allocation.
  • To arrange and support meetings, monitoring/supporting completion of action points where applicable.
  • To maintain records of safety assessments, GDPR consent etc for the team.
