Description

Deputy Home Manager position in Cambridge. Recruiting for a small sized care provider, who are looking for someone to join the team on a full time basis, working hours per week depending on your availability. Part time floor work and part timesupernumery work is required.

Must have general experience within care homes.

Ideally looking for someone who is currently a care supervisor or team leader, who is looking for their next step up, or an experienced deputy manager.

This is an opportunity to work for a well supported careprovider.


Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Home Manager:

  • To manage a team of Carers and work closely with the Home Manager
  • Proven experience in assisting in managing fully compliant Residential Homes
  • Experience in managing/ leading staff teams
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deciding and initiating action
  • To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager
  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from timetotime be required to maintain that currency of practice

Deputy Home Manager Requirements:


  • Experience is care is essential
  • Nursing qualification is essential
  • Full time position working 36/42 hours per week
  • Ensuring quality of care for residents
  • Previous track record working within residential care companies
