The Vacuum Solutions Group within ASTeC are looking for two vacuum process technicians to work within our processing facility.


These interesting entry level roles will provide exposure to practical experiences such as laboratory duties, quality systems & health and safety, alongside building your personal skills in areas such as teamwork, networking, communication and listening.


If successful you will be trained to carry out the inspection and processing of vacuum components through a multistage system, repeatedly following described cleaning processes without deviation, so an eye for detail as well as the ability to work independentlyand accurately is a must.


Essential:


  • Minimum of 5 GCSE with at least a C in Science and Maths, or equivalent
  • Evidence of practical aptitude, ability to do 'hands on' tasks
  • Experience of following specific work procedures to complete tasks and documenting progress as the task proceeds
  • Happy and confident holding conversations with a cross section of people
  • The ability to problem solve, use your own initiative and to ask for help and advice when needed
