Description

To support the organisation, delivery and development of undergraduate and post-graduate simulation teaching across the Trust.

The primary responsibility of this post is to deliver post graduate simulation training meeting the curriculum requirements of Foundation and CMT/IMT trainees in particular, along with upskilling training.

In addition the post holder will support undergraduate teaching and training in the delivery of areas of the Undergraduate Curriculum for medical students (Newcastle and Sunderland medical schools).

The Trust has a dedicated Clinical Simulation Laboratory and the Simulation Fellow will be trained to incorporate use of our 3G SimMan into the delivery of clinical skills teaching.

The post holder will be supported by a SIM nurse and SIM technician.

You will be expected to support teaching for Foundation Doctors and other clinical teaching as requested, including the completion of work-based assessments.
