Description

We are looking for a dynamic and versatile individual who can help deliver our Nature Recovery ambitions for the region.

As Senior Nature Recovery Project Officer, you will promote and support the creation of nature recovery networks (NRNs) through project development and delivery and partnership working, including within the Great Manchester Wetlands Nature Improvement Area (GM Wetlands).

You will develop, implement and embed programmes of work and projects related to nature recovery, working with internal colleagues and external organisations, including the GM Wetlands partnership, further Nature Recovery Focus Areas and Lancashire Wildlife Trust's Peatlands Programme team.

You will help progress business plan aims on developing and securing green financing opportunities for nature-based solutions, such as biodiversity net gain and carbon credits.

The successful applicant will be an engaging individual and an excellent communicator, who is willing to take responsibility and demonstrate cutting edge thinking in the area of nature recovery.
