    Description

    The responsibilities of the Project Engineer include:

    • Manage projects from engineering handover to completion of site installation, ensuring they meet time, budget, quality, and margin requirements
    • Apply sound project engineering principles to all work undertaken

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Take ownership and accountability for project delivery
    • Interpret proposals, client specifications, and expectations
    • Plan projects to meet client installation and delivery dates
    • Manage project costs and budgets
    • Procure materials and equipment effectively
    • Manage changes and variations to project scope
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
    • Prepare documents for efficient workshop manufacture and project installation
    • Coordinate commissioning and documentation
    • Ensure contract compliance
    • Delegate project tasks effectively
    • Liaise with managers and directors
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-departmental teams
    • Stay updated on industry standards and developments
    • Identify and propose business improvements
    • Undertake hands-on work when necessary
    • Demonstrate support for company values

    General:

    • Maintain awareness of industry standards and legislation
    • Ensure qualifications remain relevant
    • Promote new ideas and improvements
    • Travel to various client sites as required
    • Be flexible with working hours and commitments
