Description

Barnsley is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Team manager to join their Care Leavers team
£45 per hour - UMBRELLA.
Hybrid working - with a minimum of 3 days based in the office at Westgate Plaza, Barnsley.

Responsibilities of the role:

To achieve the best possible positive outcomes for children and young people across the service.
To support and direct the work of the Team and the priorities therein through a reflective and systemic approach to all work with children, young people and families.
To ensure that a systemic approach is deployed both in terms of practitioners working together on case work and direct work with children and families
To undertake the prioritisation and allocation of work within the Team, ensuring focused and purposeful social work interventions with explicit aims and objectives about desired outcomes.
To prepare, attend and chair where applicable a range of meetings and decisionmaking forums on specific cases as required and in consultation with the principal manager.

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification
Degree or equivalent
At least 5+ years' experience social work within children's services
Social Work England Registration
Driving license and access to own vehicle
