Payroll Officer - Lincoln - To £30, Month Contract

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a market leading and global organisation in the recruitment for a Payroll Officer on a minimum 6 month contract with the chance of permanent for the right person. As the Payroll Officer you will assistwith all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the payroll including inputting timesheets for weekly/monthly payroll and checking pension deductions. This varied role would suit someone looking to learn within a successful business long term to grow and developtheir skills.

Payroll Officer Responsibilities:

Checking timesheets and input into the Sage 50 payroll system for approx. 100 weekly and 20 monthly timesheets
Reviewing sickness and holidays on the system
Auditing starters and leavers
Calculating correct amounts including overtime, bonus, and attachment of earnings
Completing and checking pension deductions
Preparing reports for monthly submission
Administering and authorising payments
Uploading bacs files manually into the bank software for payment

Required Skills & Experience:

You will have solid payroll experience including monthly and weekly payroll
Excellent computer skills including sound excel skills
Keen eye for detail and able to maintain accurate data
You will have a proactive approach and have strong interpersonal skills, but also can work off your own initiative
Experience of working on Sage 50 Payroll
