We are seeking a talented Commercial Assistant who will proactively support the production and management of the network optimisation and build of the plan, across all our Substation and Overhead Line (OHL) works.


The role will also proactively coordinate the production and control of construction scheme work order and project data to allow Electricity Transmission Operations staff to accurately record costs and provide accurate data to support our regulatory outputs.


Our Commercial Assistants are required to understand the planning process, commercial and regulatory frameworks, and work management systems to provide a strong level of support and assurance on the management of data and documents.

As part of our Hybrid working model, you will work from home and our HQ in Warwick.


About You:


  • Detailed experience and understanding of planning systems and delivering outputs to tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Asset Data experience
  • Experience in working with core planning processes and methods
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Access and Portfolio Planning systems
  • Skilled in data trending and analysis of performance
  • Ideally an understanding of technical aspects of National Grid Electricity Transmission network assets, and its associated planning systems and processes
