Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers.

As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Technologist to join their business.

Reporting into the Packhouse Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity for a Food or Fresh Produce professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.

In this Technologist position, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintaining the QA systems and procedures
Support members of the QA team, monitor their work and deal with technical queries whilst ensuring they are delivered to the required standard
Provide guidance to the packhouse in the event of quality issues
Assist the Packhouse Manager & Shift Managers
Participate in continuous culture improvement
Monitoring all aspects of stock
Facilitating the NPD procedures
Monitor quality performance trends and alerting the wider team to any concerns, actioning accordingly
Formally follow up on customer complaints
Prepare reports in relation to QMS system
HACCP & quarterly quality and project work
Support the business with duediligence requirements
