Manchester (Onsite training for 3 weeks, followed by remote work from home)


Job Type:
Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Rate of Pay:
£10.42 per Hour (Weekly Pay)

We have the perfect opportunity for you Join our team as a Customer Service Advisor and enjoy the flexibility of working from the comfort of your own home after an initial 3-week onsite training in Manchester.


Key Responsibilities:


Inbound and Outbound Calls:
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests through both inbound and outbound calls.

First Point of Contact:
Be the initial point of contact for customers, ensuring positive and professional interactions with excellent listening skills.

Training:

Complete a comprehensive three-week training program onsite in Manchester to gain a strong understanding of processes, systems, and customer service protocols.


Remote Work:

Transition to a homeworking setup after the initial training period, utilizing provided equipment to continue delivering exceptional customer service from home.


Working Hours:
Adhere to established working hours between 8:00 AM and 6:15 PM, Monday to Friday.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be dealing with customer queries related to Disability Living Allowance (DLA), specifically new claims and mandatory reconsiderations.

This involves managing customer expectations, requesting additional evidence, and providing explanations of DLA entitlement conditions.


Requirements:


  • Previous customer service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment, meeting individual and team targets.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and a customerfocused mindset.
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a fastpaced, highpressure team environment.
  • Basic DBS Clearance and Full Employment History.
