Description

The Diabetes Health Care Assistant is required to work as part of the multidisciplinary team committed to the care and treatment of patients within the Diabetes and Endocrinology Centre and Bath Royal United Hospital.


The post holder will undertake a wide range of duties under the supervision of nursing and medical as well as allied health care professionals.


This role involves assisting to run diabetes and endocrine outpatient clinics as the need arises, under indirect supervision of the diabetes specialist nursing team.

They will assist with the delivery of care to patients with diabetes, using IT systems such as Millennium and SystmOne
