The HR Services Officers support the business by providing advice and transactional administration on a wide range of functions including recruitment, contract changes and payroll administration.

A 2 year fixed term contract position which offers hybrid working. Salary - £26,534.

Description

HR Services and Recruitment Officer


The HR Services Officers support the business by providing advice and transactional administration on a wide range of functions including recruitment, contract changes and payroll administration.

As a member of the HR Services team, you would report to theHR & Payroll Delivery Manager, and work alongside other generalist HR Services Officers.

You will be predominantly responsible for supporting colleagues in their recruitment activities, while also supporting national HR projects and initiatives.

You will assistin the recruitment activities for circa 125+ new roles.

Where capacity allows, you will also provide HR administrative services as part of a multi-functional support team to managers and staff, responding to initial queries/requests as first point of contacton HR administration and policy matters.


Profile

HR Services and Recruitment Officer

Experience -Essential

  • Experience of working in a customerfocused recruitment and/or HR environment.
  • Experience of using computerised HR and/or recruitment systems.
  • A thorough understanding of recruitment procedures and practices, with direct experience of supporting multirole recruitment campaigns.
  • Ability to plan and produce work accurately and effectively by utilising strong organisational skills.
  • Experience of working collaboratively in a multifunctional team environment to achieve results.
  • Able to build effective working relationships across multiple business areas.
  • Able to work in a transitional environment, where new processes & procedures are implemented in a steady succession.

Experience - Desirable

  • Experience of managing transactional processes and changes accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience of using Government Recruitment Systems.
  • Experience of using the iTrent HR/Payroll system.
  • Foundation Certificate in Human Resources Practice (CIPD), or willing to undertake study.
