Increase sustainably GSF solution and credit revenues through the below

  • Originate and execute funding transactions with recourse facing asset managers / Funds mainly on structured finance assets (ABS, Clos, loans) in different formats (Repo, TRS, Asset switch, pledged loans) across various maturities
  • Maintain a high level of client intensity to be able to source profitable funding deals and grow GSF franchise : identify the optimal assets to finance and maturities (with regards to risk/reward), increase equipment rate in GMRAs/GMSLAs and other relevantdocumentation for a securities financing business
  • Plan and organise client meetings, establishing relevant contacts with clients and in coordination with the different client facing departments (for ex. senior coverage) and ensure information is passed to other teams for cross sell purposes within thebank
  • Contribute to Natixis good understanding of counterparty risk on Funds in close relation with structuring and trading: good understanding of different leverage mechanisms and impact on risk, valuation issues on liquid and illiquid assets, ability to explainand discuss with risk on these points,
  • Coordinate the Bank's efforts to service client organisations: ensure transaction execution meets client and Natixis requirements, notably with regards to providing timely and professional pricing within Natixis compliance framework
  • Formulate marketing strategies; create business plans, draw up forecasts,

Financial Performance

  • Aim to maximise long term revenues and control costs within the context of the GSF solution and credit businesses

Control

  • Ensure clients are suitably classified (under FCA rules) and are dealt with appropriately
  • Ensure clients are cleared by Credit, Legal, Compliance and Operations before trading.
  • Ensure that new products are approved by the NPC before being offered to clients

Risk

  • Adhere to and understand risks to the bank and the client resulting from marketing initiatives or successful conclusion of transactions.
  • Consult the credit portal and adhere to counterparty risk limits prior to executing transactions
  • Act as Operational Risk Correspondent as defined in the bank's procedures

Legal & Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements as issued from time to time, including, but not limited to: the London Compliance manual; Compliance policies and procedures; Security policies & procedures; Financial Securityrequirements, including but not limited to the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Maintain and develop product knowledge to ensure ability to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence

Systems Used

  • External Systems include Market Data (Bloomberg)
  • Significant experience in sales/structuring with a solutions approach, facing funds and/or real money clients on structured credit (distribution of credit assets ABS/CLOs, deleveraging solutions, financing with recourse and non recourse,)
  • Deep understanding and established relationships with structured credit asset managers and hedge funds
  • Good understanding of the different fund financing formats (Repo, TRS, loans.) and significant experience in their execution
