Role Summary:

The Production Worker shall ensure all tooling is handled professionally and effectively following the business process. Governance of the material batch release and re-life processes on site. Support new and legacy projects.

Core Responsibilities:

Perform routine production tasks such as operating subassembly equipment, coating equipment, ovens, and material handling equipment including hoists, cranes, tow motors, pallet trucks, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Complete troubleshooting while operating equipment, including performing and documenting limited preventative maintenance.
Monitor, measure, and record quality assurance data including, but not limited to, dimensions, weight, or other specific information.
Observe safe work practices, maintain a safe and clean work environment and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.
Track orders, utilise appropriate equipment, and move material to enable the production process to flow efficiently and effectively.
Comprehend and accurately follow specific detailed operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations.
Follow specific quality criteria to maintain quality system requirements.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Responsibilities:

A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent experience in the related field.
Experience in the use of hand tools including calliper's, depth gages, micrometres, and other measuring equipment, and machinery is highly desirable.
Able to problemsolve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Able to read various instructions.
Proficient computer skills.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
