Butler Ross have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the procurement team within a leading healthcare logistics business.

The role is based in South Normanton on a hybrid basis and is paying £50k dependent on experience.
This is an indirect procurement role with a particular focus on the facilities management, fleet and construction categories. The position does not involve any people leadership and experience with managing a team is not necessary.

Role responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:

Sourcing and procuring indirect goods and services with a particular focus on FM, fleet and construction categories
Leading the development and implementation of procurement strategies
Identifying costsaving opportunities
Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating with suppliers
Defining and executing a contract management programme

Personal specification of the Procurement Manager:

Strategic thinker, able to analyse and make effective decisions
Experience across all aspects of the procurement lifecycle
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Dynamic with the ability to work around changes and setbacks
Driven and keen to continue their personal development

This role will be suited to you if you have held a role as a: Buyer, Senior Buyer, Category Manager, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Indirect Buyer, or similar.
