My client, a Bexleyheath based local authority, seek an experienced Housing Review Officer to start an ongoing temp booking asap.

Principle Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

You will undertake reviews and conduct all appropriate investigations in relation to the following decisions: - Section 184 and Section 193 decisions under Part V11 of the Housing Act 1996, as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act The dutiesfollowing the acceptance and the ending of the Prevention and Relief Duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act The suitability of main duty temporary accommodation and Part V1 tenancies.

- Internal reviews from applicants who have applied to my clientsAllocations Service.

You will ensure Regulation 5 acknowledgements are issued following receipt of all new reviews.

You will issue temporary accommodation decision letters using the Mohamed legislation You will make enquiries with the applicant, their representatives, third parties such as medical professionals, Police, Probation, Social Services etc in order to establishif the Council has a legal obligation to the client.

You will Issue Regulation 7 letters when required prior to the making of final decisions.

You will issue the final Section 202 and decision letters.
