Are you a dedicated, loyal, and adaptable individual who is able to support the Chief Executive and the senior team?


ASSISTANT CHIEF EXECUTIVE - GRADE 8-9 depending on experience


We are a local charity with services across Lincoln and Gainsborough supporting vulnerable young people and adults to change lives, building stronger communities, and generating independence.


LEAP works tirelessly to support homeless people to recover from their personal issues and break down the barriers that they face.

Homelessness is much more than just a housing issue, so we provide a range of accommodation and support services to help people reach their full potential.


This position is a critical role within the Charity to support the Chief Executive with Human Resources, Customer Services, compliance with laws, regulations, governance, marketing, fundraising and internal policies.

This includes embedding the organisations culture and championing the Charity's valued through strong leadership and inspirational behaviour.

Some of your duties will include:

  • All aspects of Human Resources including staff recruitment, DBS checks, disciplinary and Grievance meetings, annual appraisals and the monitoring of Absences and Annual Leave
  • To line manage relevant Administration staff
  • To provide assistance to the Chief Executive as required
  • To undertake secretarial services for the Board of Trustees including taking minutes at meetings and filing of accounts
  • To oversee Marketing and Fundraising to ensure that a firstclass image is portrayed
  • To organise events including team events, celebrations, and the Annual General Meeting.
  • All aspects of compliance including overseeing Fire Risk Assessments, Legionella's and Situational Risk Assessments, file audits and cyclical maintenance in line with legislation
  • All Aspects of Quality Assurance including maintaining registration with quality standards regulators, Key Performance Indicators and communication with external inspectors undertaking quality inspections
Applicants must be self-motivated, reliable, and dedicated to our aims and ethos. A full driving licence, business insurance and access to a vehicle is essential.

Salary scale £39,292 - £43,699 (depending on experience) plus a benefits package that includes a generous annual leave allowance, flexible working, and company pension

In accordance with Part 7 of the immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.


Salary:
£39,292.00-£43,699.00 per year
