What will you do


The enterprise business solutions finance team has responsibility for providing accounting services, business analytics and reporting for Finance colleagues in 30 countries across the Consumer EMEA region.

Kenvue Consumer EMEA has annual sales of over $ 4 bn and sells approximately 100 different brands.

The Plant accounting team is part of the Principal, Inventory and Costing (PIC) Operations Team.

  • This position reports into the Regional Plant and Cost Accounting Manager and is based at High Wycombe.
  • Key Responsibilities

Process responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Regional Supply Chain organization and local Plant teams
  • Provide financial expertise and business partnering to Supply Chain finance and commercial stakeholders
  • Ensure the accounting accuracy for Inventory sections of Trial Balance:
  • Gross Inventory
  • Inventory Reserves
  • Direct GRIR
  • Manufacturing Variances
  • OCNIS (Other Costs Not In Standard)
  • Identify, explore and deliver continual process improvements within the Plant Accounting function taking into account the underlying principles of Eliminate, Standardize, Automate and Outsource standard activities to the 3rdparty contractors (Manila).
  • Participate in projects and drive changes, promote best practices
  • Cooperate with other EBS Teams and functions including CFMs, Inventory, Costing and Compliance teams
  • Liaise on behalf of EBS Organization with Projects Teams (e.g. STF) to ensure all inventory accounting flows are integrated into standard COE accounting and processes
  • Work closely with the Costing team to manage and resolve costing issues for the plants
  • Own regional processes for Inventory accounting at plants including wall to wall stock count takes
  • Review, analyse and comment on financial performance vs targets
  • Ensure compliance with internal (SOX) and external (PWC) audit requirements.
  • Plan and manage deliverables around Internal and External Audits

People Management:


  • Recruit, lead, motivate and develop the EBS Plant Accounting Team of five
  • Talent development and the ability to motivate and drive a team
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, innovation and sharing of ideas
  • Contribute to EBS initiatives on people development and employee satisfaction

Travel

  • Travel in EAME region when required for projects

Compliance Statement:


  • Ensure strong internal controls are adhered to, in order to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings.
  • Accurate and timely monthend reporting. Meet all corporate and regional deadlines.

Qualifications:


What we are looking for

  • Required Qualifications
  • Fully qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent, with minimum 5 years post qualified financial experience

Languages:


  • English essential
  • Other European languages desirable

Experience Required:


  • Strong Manufacturing/Plant accounting background and process expertise, in depth knowledge and understanding of Kenvue Worldwide Procedures (WWP) based on US GAAP,
  • Knowledge of SAP & Excel, preferably knowledge of Kenvue manufacturing ERPs (AS400 / BPCS, MOVEX)
