Description

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a part-qualified Management Accountant on behalf of a growing manufacturing and distribution business on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for theaccurate and timely production of the monthly management accounts, as well as conducting financial analysis and reporting which will assist the board in decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts with commentary
Assisting with stock valuations
Reconciliation of all ledgers and accounts including nominal ledgers, bank and control accounts.
Month and year end close
Assisting with annual audit
Using Excel and looking at large volumes of data, conduct financial analysis and report on findings to present to senior management and the board of directors
Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and communicate figures to nonfinancial stakeholders
Be a strong point of contact within the finance team for any queries regarding financial matters
Continually seek ways to improve effienciencies with regard to costs and processes both within the department and across the wider business.
