Summary


The Green Energy Advice Bureau are one of the UK's leading Energy Consultancies and since 2015 have gradually been growing and building a strong reputation within the energy market.

We're now on the lookout for an eager Full Stack developer to join our Change team, building and refining the tools that keep the business on that growth path.


Based in our riverside Newcastle office, this is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a fun and vibrant office with an exciting, refreshing, and positive culture and environment.

You will play a pivotal role in the cross functional team responsible for the full change cycle, from conception through to deployment.


Being a young, agile business, we live off of change and we currently have a small cross functional team who make that change come to life We are now on the hunt for someone to join us who can bring more technical knowledge, more hands on deck and more fun and laughter.


You'll be responsible for updating our core website, our careers website, our pricing engine and all of our tasks and microservices that enable our colleagues to focus on their core roles.

It's so important that everyone has the right tools to do their jobs and it's up to us to make that happen.


What we expect from you

  • An eager junior developer with some experience and huge amounts of drive
  • The ability to learn on the job, using all resources available and always hungry to develop new skills
  • Expertise in web frontend technologies such as VueJs.
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3/Sass, webapps
  • Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology
  • Ability to make and present reasoned decisions around architecture and technical approach, to ensure flexibility and rapid product release
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to align the organisation on complex technical decisions
  • Highly detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • You enjoy working under pressure

What you can expect from us

  • Starting salary 26k to 30k (based on experience)
  • 3 days office based, with 2 days home working (overtime this has potential to become more flexible)

Salary:
£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Supplemental pay types:
