HR Administrator - London, United Kingdom - Crown Agents

About the role
This role is responsible for providing HR admin support for a number of key HR processes delivered within the organisation and ensuring that accurate HR data is maintained.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
HR database and reporting
- Responsible for ensuring that the HR system accurately reflects current staff conditions and details. This includes inputting starters, leavers, contractual amendments, change of details and maintaining leave data
- Responsible for maintaining paper based and electronic personnel files in line with data protection guidelines
- Responsible for generating reports from the HR system for the purpose of monitoring employee data and compliance with Crown Agents policies
HR Admin.
- Responsible for issuing comms and reminders to employees based on guidance/information provided by the Business
- Responsible for maintaining HR information on Crown Agents intranet site
- Responsible for collating and reviewing data from multiple system e.g., in the event that a Line Manager flags a potential attendance issue
- Responsible for administrative tasks related to income protection, life insurance and private health insurance renewal as well as insurance claims
- Responsible for conducting and managing data audits on a periodic basis
- Responsible for liaising with other Departments, where relevant, to communicate any change of details
Client relationship
- Act as a key point of contact for HR admin. related queries, ensuring that all questions raised are dealt with in a courteous, timely and confidential manner, and if required escalated within agreed timescales
- Responsible for liaising with external providers (e.g., benefits provider, insurance broker)
General
- Provide support to any special projects being undertaken in the HR Department
- Contribute to, and support, the delivery of the HR strategy and annual operating plan
- Be aware of and adhere to company quality standards and procedures in accordance with Crown Agent's commitment to working to the highest quality standards and striving for continual improvement

- Good numerical and excel skills
Qualifications
- Studying CIPD or other relevant qualification
- Experience working in an office environment desirable
