Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity?


We are looking for committed and enthusiastic members of staff to join our team at PALS after school service in Dalmuir.

At PALS we support children and young people aged 5-18yrs with a range of physical and emotional support needs. Your hours of work would be pm, Mon-Fri. There is also the opportunity to work until 7pm to assist our children with their return home.


We run our holiday club during the October week, one week at Easter and 5 weeks during the Summer holidays, from 9.30am-3.30pm.

These weeks are packed full of fun and creativity often with themed days that celebrate the respective holidays.

  • At PALS we aim to offer our children and young people a safe and supportive environment for expressive play, to build social skills and to develop new interests and talents. We are a nurturing and fun environment and a valuable service for all the young people who attend.


Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support.

No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be


Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.


ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
