Our client, a global leader in the retail design and in-store solutions industry, is looking for a Head of Installation to manage the Installation Manager and teams with all onsite activity, as well as supporting the client's needs, whilst monitoring progress and quality.

Overseas travel is required.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing instore installations, elevation, and construction teams.
  • Instructing and informing installation teams in the proper and efficient assembly of the company's fixtures.
  • Supporting the Installation Managers and the team with installations as necessary.
  • Providing installation support including sourcing, training and directing 3rd party suppliers.
  • Collaborating with engineering and production team members.
  • Collaborating and providing support for internal account teams.
  • Overseeing onsite client contact regarding status the of assigned installation projects, shipping status, special conditions relating to the store and the fixtures, next steps in the process, priorities and company expectations for the sequence of events.
  • Communicating with clients including problem solving and status reporting as required.
  • Ensuring internal communication between the installation managers and internal teams.
  • Directing contact with general contractors and subcontractors as required to successfully and efficiently perform work expected.
  • Compiling assets and control documents required for onsite leadership and management.
  • Reviewing project construction plans.
  • Checking and ensuring accuracy of Scope of Work bid documents for assigned installations.
  • Developing better ways of working for the onsite teams/installation department

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Three to five years of Retail Installation or Construction related experience and the management of teams.
  • Willing to travel both domestically and overseas.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to consistently interact with internal stakeholders and external clients on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to read and interpret construction, architectural, and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work independently and be selfmotivated.
