PIMCO is looking for a career paralegal or secretary with strong administration skills to work in the Alternative Business' Legal department and support PIMCO's alternative fund legal transaction lawyers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with KYC for PIMCO's alternative funds
  • Review, draft and negotiate various documents including secondment and consultancy agreements, engagement letters, NDAs, process letters, powers of attorney etc.
  • Coordinate and manage the teams of internal and external NDA consultants as well as a junior paralegal
  • Assist with regulatory filings across transactions
  • Assist in transaction closings and documentation for PIMCO's alternative funds
  • Arrange execution of various documents after obtaining appropriate sign offs internally
  • Maintain records and databases of regulatory and legal matters
  • Assist with legal invoicing (including approving timesheets for secondees and consultants) and CounselLink
  • Assist with legal and compliance related tasks, logs, lists and trackers
  • Assist with departmental projects
  • Understand, manage and improve transactionrelated processes
  • Updating legal templates
  • Chaperoning desk meetings
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's Degree of Law, GDL or equivalent

  • Paralegal experience in a top tier law firm or inhouse role
  • Interest in the financial services sector

  • Possess exceptional oral, written and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently on complex tasks
