    Internal Audit Manager - Finance & Prudential Risk

    As a Prudential Risk and Finance Internal Audit Manager, you will join our Internal Audit Team based in Leeds City Centre.

    You will play a key role in defining and delivering effective audits in the prudential risk and finance areas.

    You will work extensively with stakeholders across our Finance and Risk divisions to help shape the delivery of our audits and develop good working relationships with colleagues across the business.

    The Internal Audit team are currently have a balance of home and office based work. They try to come together once a week in our Leeds head office for collaborative working.
    Working autonomously using your organizational skills to deliver audits. You will lead initial planning through to fieldwork and final reporting.
    You will help shape the Internal Audit department through process improvement to create a high performing function.
    Influencing key stakeholders to ensure robust, cost-effective controls and a strong control environment across the Finance division.
    You will use existing finance experience to assess relevant controls and processes.
    Leveraging off the support and development resources in the department to expand your technical and audit skills

    You will either be a current Internal Audit or Assurance professional or be in a first-line Finance or second-line Risk role, looking for a move into Internal Audit.

    You will have proven experience of Finance risk management principles.
    First class project management and analytical skills. You will be able to demonstrate excellent business judgement.
    You will have a comprehensive understanding of risk management and control.
    Strong stakeholder management skills and report writing experience.
    You will have a track record of professional development and hold a relevant audit or finance qualification.
