Your New Role


We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Permanent Social Value (Community Benefits) Co-ordinator to join our Social Value team in Scotland.

This role will be
Hybrid and will involve travelling on average 2 days per week.


Amey manages our NMC NE account awarded to us in 2022 and NMC SW account awarded to us in 2020.

We are responsible for inspecting and maintaining our roads and highways to ensure we aim to create well-functioning and safe spaces to minimise disruption to keep people moving and support thriving communities.

The
Social Value Co-ordinator plays an important part in delivering Social Value workshops to our contract teams across Scotland.


The standard hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


The salary will be discussed at interview stage.


You will be responsible for:


  • Completing and managing quarterly reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement, coordinate and deliver the educational program, by coordinating and delivering STEM days, work experience placements and personal development programmes.
  • Coordinate and deliver social impact days through relationships with charities.
  • Develop relationships with local schools, charities etc and continue to maintain these relationships throughout the duration of the projects.
  • Maintain relationships with the Amey Scotland charity partners.
  • Work closely with the communications team to develop external project communications (Newsletters, Project website update, project social media updates)
  • Develop, implement, manage & take ownership of Social Value Plans.
  • Provide support and assist teams in meeting Social Value targets.
  • Provide reports on progress to Senior Management.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Evidenced experience working with schools and third sector organisations
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Work as part of a team but can also operate standalone when required
In addition to this, it is essential you have
Driving Licence as regular travel is required.
