- Implementing a child-cantered approach to teaching and learning, taking into account each child's interests, abilities and learning styles.
- Providing regular assessment and feedback to monitor children's progress and identify areas for development.
- Collaborating with parents/guardians and other staff members to support children's holistic development and well-being.
- Promoting positive behaviour management strategies and fostering a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusivity within the classroom.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- A strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy, including the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians and colleagues.
- Creativity, enthusiasm and a passion for working with young children.
- The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and create an inclusive learning environment.
