Are you interested in working for a world top 100 University?


We have an exciting part-time opportunity in the School of Mathematics and Statistics and Department of Physics and Astronomy to use your experience of working within a busy office environment to support Postgraduate Research (PGR) activity within both departments.


You will be part of a large Professional Services team that supports the School of Mathematics and Statistics and Department of Physics and Astronomy.

The two departments have a joint professional administrative support service, which provides dedicated support in all areas of learning and teaching, student experience, operations and health and safety to staff, students and visitors.


You will have 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English and Mathematics and experience working in a busy office environment.

Excellent customer service and communications skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

You should be able to work flexibly and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and have excellent attention to detail. You will be IT literate, whilst experience of working within Higher Education and using databases would be advantageous.


This is an exciting time to join us as a Postgraduate Research Support Assistant as we're currently working on changes to ensure that our student recruitment and marketing activities continue to meet the needs of our customers.
