You will have a knowledge of the delivery of high-quality teaching of adults; meeting the Education Inspection Framework and quality standards relating to learning in both formal and non-formal settings.

You will have knowledge of and an understanding of Equal Opportunities policies and procedures and methods of widening participation in community learning.

You will also have a knowledge of embedding safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures into teaching delivery.

You will have experience of improving quality of learning and delivering and assessing accredited and/or non-accredited courses; experience of planning, writing, delivering and evaluating training sessions for accredited and non-accredited programmes; effectively review, monitor and offer guidance and support to young people and adults; working on own initiative, organising and prioritising your own work.

It is essential that you have effective use of ICT within a learning environment and the ability to work flexibly.
