Description
The Digital Event Specialist has responsibility for delivering a portfolio of knowledge and competence events, both digital and face 2 face globally.
Reporting to the Digital Event Manager you will work within the product delivery framework and will ensure a high quality, efficient and consistent standard of product delivery across all markets and formats or channelsKey Achievements & Responsibilities
- Ensure all products are delivered in line with the latest industry trends and is engaging for customers
- Collaborate across the product delivery team to ensure we are realising efficiencies, evaluating
- Effective and collaborative relationships are built with both internal and external stakeholders
- Supplier management sourcing and negotiating contracts with global suppliers
- Cost management working alongside other product areas to ensure costs are controlled in order to achieve the margin
- Sponsorship/partnership management working with the sponsorship agency to maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that sponsorship contracts are fulfilled
- Onsite and digital event management delivering events consistently and to the highest standards, overseeing webcasts and ensure all presenters have a clear understanding of the webcast flow and technical environment ahead of each event
- SME administration organising the SME contribution / participation in the events
- Effective communication with all stakeholders, particularly the other teams within the global product and services team
Experience Required
- Strong experience in event management and working with delivery teams in partnership with cross functional, geographically dispersed teams and building trusted relationships
- Webinar management experience
- Technical background experience with Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, PowerPoint, video editing preferred
- Culturally aware with the ability to operate effectively in a global role and work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds and expertise
- Highly organised and methodical approach with experience of working in a fastpaced constantly changing environment
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create impactful knowledge and competence products
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in a matrix environment
- Customer focused, with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, confident with all stakeholders
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines as required
- Detail oriented and extremely organised
