We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Assistant to join our team in Winchester.

The Special Needs Assistant will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to students with special needs, helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students with special needs.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans and behaviour management plans.
  • Support students in academic, social, and life skills development.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the overall wellbeing of students.
  • Help students with personal care and mobility, as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support students with special needs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively as part of a team.

Salary:
£75.00-£90.00 per day

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
