Complete Classroom Services are working with a
Secondary SEN School who are looking for a resilient and patient
SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work 1:1 with KS3 and KS4 pupils who have
social, emotional and mental (SEMH) needs with associated
behavioural challenges.

The opportunity to work
alongside the therapy team would be greatly beneficial for those with a background and/or keen interest in
psychology, mental health and therapeutic interventions.

Overview:

Responsibilities:

Providing
1:1 emotional support and equipping them with
coping strategies to help
regulate their behaviour.
Working alongside therapy team to reinforce strategies developed between sessions and be tasked with delivering
therapeutic interventions.
Supporting them in class and ensure positive social interactions

The successful
SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

Ideally at least 3 month's experience supporting special educational needs, especially
social, emotional and mental (SEMH) needs with associated
behavioural challenges.
Confidence to deliver 1:1 support and interventions.
Resilience and patience to deescalate emotional outbursts.

Salary:

£82.00-£100.00 per day
