Complete Classroom Services are working with an
SEN School in Ealing, who committed to providing exceptional support and education to primary and secondary aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (
SEMH) needs.

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated
Mental Health Support Worker to join
immediately, with the opportunity to
continue in September.


Role Overview:


Responsibilities of a Mental Health Support Worker:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Develop and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to individual pupil needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to create a holistic support plan for each pupil.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils feel safe and supported.
  • Assist in managing challenging behaviour and implementing behaviour support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and interventions.

The successful
Mental Health Support Worker will have:


  • Degree in psychology, mental health, therapy, or a related field (ideal for those recently graduated).
  • Passion for supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards school development.
  • Experience with therapeutic interventions and behaviour management strategies is desirable.
  • Access to Good References and an Enhanced DBS

Complete Classroom Services are highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

You will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau) and undergo due diligence checks on social media use.

All school-based staff have the responsibility for promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children.

All school staff should be aware of the school's Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy and work in accordance with this document at all times.
