What will I be doing?

Working as Strainstall's Technical Sales team member you will provide our customers with technical sales support from enquiry, through quotation to order.

You will do this by working closely with our engineering, production and procurement teams to establish an engineered solution with accurate costings and lead times to build out detailed quotations and proposals in support of the sales function.

You will follow up ongoing enquiries and see through to a successful order.

Ensure that the external and internal sales teams are supported with information and where appropriate coordinate getting quotations put together in a timely manner.
Liaise with the customer to understand their requirements and challenges.
Work with production / engineering and procurement departments to establish a solution that is fully costed with a leadtime.
Generate a quotation, commercial and technical proposals and tenders
Support Customer Services function as appropriate with regards to resolving any commercial or technical issues
Provide sales guidance and technical support to the wider sales support team.
Work with the external sales teams, agents, distributors and end clients to close the order.

What experience do I need?

IT Literate
Word, Excel, Sage, CRM

Technical/ engineering understanding

Knowledge of load monitoring equipment or a background in an engineering / technical company would be a distinct advantage.
