Fundraising Assistant - Finchley, United Kingdom - North London Hospice
Description
This is a fast-paced and varied role that will enable the fundraising team to provide exceptional supporter journeys to our different audiences by providing top notch support in a variety of areas.
From routine administrative tasks, to solving queries, and from stewarding and cheering at key events, to chatting with donors on the phone, this role is about building on the work of the team to ensure that donating and fundraising is a wonderful experience.
Sending regular welcome communications and packs to new donors or potential donors
Attending events to support their smooth running or cheer on fundraisers
Ensuring postal donations and collections are processed accurately and thanked within agreed timeframes.
Administering income from other platforms such as JustGiving.
Ensure all relevant information and communication with supporters is logged on our database, Raiser's Edge (eg logging gift aid declarations and returned mail)
Ensuring the continuous improvement of the data quality on the database by cleaning up any bad data (eg. where data is not accurate or in the right format)
To take personal responsibility for ensuring a good working knowledge of North London Hospice when communicating with supporters.
This exciting new role sits within the Supporter Care team at North London Hospice, who are the warm and welcoming first point of contact for many of our amazing supporters and donors and who support the wider team with data and insight, so a passion for accuracy and data is key to the success of this role.
Responding to a wide range of enquiries around our fundraising campaigns, fundraising events, donations and requests for materials.
