Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Principal Technical Consultant with great fault finding skills and a can do attitude.

The engineer will have excellent communication skills and be able to work on their own and well in a team.

The engineer will act as the technical lead for the service desk, resolving key tickets of critical importance to clients.

The engineer will see through all issues from start to finish. Ensuring all stakeholders are regularly updated. Role will also include working with a project manager. As part of the upgrade portion of the role. They will be able Identify on risk factors.

Able to independently manage workload in project implementation.

Job Description:

Implementation of upgrades and patches

Providing accurate timescales with project management

Executing root cause fixes

Implementing improvement to systems on key processes

Creating Problem records for development issues

Attending meetings with clients to discuss technical issues

On Site Visits to clients to resolve issues and improve customer relations

Liaising with stakeholders on requirements and creating solutions

Mentoring colleagues and sharing information with the wider team

Contributions to knowledgebase

Able to work with the management team to contribute ideas and better ways of working

Have a good positive attitude.

Act as technical lead and escalation point for the maintenance team providing expert product/client domain expertise

Act as technical support to the Service Delivery Director to assist in the review, improvement and reduction of tickets within the Service Desk

Continuously improve and innovate on support techniques

Provide support to the wider business with its maintenance, PS, R&D and S&M activities

Operate in accordance with the service desk and customer service governance frameworks
