We are excited to offer an amazing opportunity for a Digital Content Assistant to be part of the Communications Division at the Commonwealth Secretariat.
We are looking for a dynamic Digital Content Assistant with a sharp eye for detail and a love for visual storytelling.
In this position, you will create compelling multimedia content and help in maintaining a strong presence across our digital channels.
Your main focus will be to develop content for the Commonwealth Secretariat's website and social media outlets, aiming to showcase the organization's role and activities to diverse audiences.
Your responsibilities will include planning and producing top-notch videos and photos, managing multimedia content, contributing to social media management, publishing content on the website, and proposing strategies for enhancing the Secretariat's visibility on digital platforms.
To qualify for this role, you should hold a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, digital/media/video production, PR, or marketing from an accredited institution. Relevant professional experience will also be considered.
We are looking for candidates with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, and strong technical skills in camera operation and video editing. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Drupal, and WordPress is essential. Excellent communication, organizational abilities, creativity, and initiative are also required to craft engaging narratives.
