Solihull Retirement Village, part of the
Extra Care Charitable Trust, are currently recruiting a part time
Receptionist.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our friendly team at our
Solihull Retirement Village and support the village's commitment in delivering Extracare's mission of "
better lives for older people".

What will you do as our Receptionist:

  • Meet and greet visitors in a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming manner
  • Provide a friendly and helpful telephone service
  • Ensure all visitors & contractors can be accounted for in case of an emergency
  • Ensure reception area is kept tidy and report any shortfalls
  • With the Administrator, provide a typing and photocopying service and order stationery on a weekly basis.
  • Set up systems to manage and keep accurate records of meeting room bookings
  • Take comprehensive messages for members of staff or residents, ensuring they are passed on
  • Train and guide residents, volunteers, or others to provide a competent service.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
