Are you a qualified electrician or have experience working with electrical installations with elements of civil works looking for a new opportunity? If so, this could be the role for you as we have a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding ANPR team.
We are looking for a qualified electrician based in Surrey, North Kent or Southern Essex to join our team installing new ANPR systems and maintaining existing systems across our South East region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of ANPR systems across the South East region with an expectation of travel to other parts of the UK
- Attending site visits when required
- Assist in the production of sales quotes if required
- Carry out maintenance and service visits on existing sites and provide clear written reports
- Installation of posts, cutting of channels and ladder work when required (training will be provided if required)
- Installation of signage when needed
- Key point of contact with suppliers for equipment and supplies
- Responsible for maintaining stock of required supplies and tools
- Centre of competence for all technical aspects of the installation
- Working at height with extensive use of ladders and their safe operation
- Having an excellent attention to detail
- Working under pressure.
- Demonstrating strong time management.
- Communication between suppliers and head office
- Making reactive decisions on site based upon available information
- Willing to travel
Experience/knowledge/skills:
- Qualified Electrician (an electrical qualification NVQ Level 3 and above would be desirable)
- Experience in CCTV or ANPR installation (preferred but not essential)
- Full clean Driving licence
- Physically fit
- Good technical knowledge and aptitude
- A good understanding of the 18th and 19th Edition Wiring regulations
- CSCS Card
- Previous use of ladders

Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm (hour for lunch). These may be varied in line with requirements and some weekends and overnight stays may be required
