Position:
Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable Specialist

Purpose of Role:

This key hands-on role will take primary responsibility over Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Bank, with the use of efficiencies introduced from the implementation of software in Finance; namely Xero, ApprovalMax and Zoho Expenses.

Key delivery areas:
Allocation of cash received to sales invoices & following up on outstanding debt
Accurate processing of Purchase invoices & following up with Department Heads for approvals and resolving supplier queries
Daily reconciliations of bank accounts
Reviewing of fellow team member's monthly Credit card posting
Other ad-hoc tasks

Duties & Responsibilities:
Building a strong relationship with Customers and Customer Account Managers to prompt timely collection of receipts
Allocation of cash received to sales invoices
Accurately process Purchase invoices and following up with Departments Heads for approvals
Building a strong relationship with Suppliers for a swift resolve of any queries
Generate payment runs & allocate payments made to invoices
Daily bank reconciliations & attaching relevant support to Xero
Review Credit Card coding performed by fellow team member on Zoho Expenses
Support Year-End Audit
Provide any ad-hoc information / support to the FD and CFO as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must to be able to demonstrate competence and experience in the following:2+ years of experience within Finance department in a similar role
IT systems savvy with experience of Microsoft Excel
A great communicator, capable of getting their message across in person, in writing or to a group
Excellent interpersonal skills, team working skills and generally a friendly demeanour
A positive outlook to promote a positive atmosphere for the whole team
A proactive person willing to 'find the answers' without being prompted
Ability to work well under pressure and autonomously
Determined and results focussed
IT sector work experience is desirable
