Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and ensuring that students are on task and making progress.
  • Developing and adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Providing feedback and assessing student work in a timely manner.
  • Communicating effectively with other members of staff and parents as necessary.
  • Supervising classes led by other teachers in the absence of their regular cover supervisors.
  • Participating in school events and activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • A valid teaching certificate.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
