Job description

The School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics (HAPP) at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer to work in the field of Anthropology to support research and teaching at all levels.

It is expected that the appointee will have demonstrable ability to teach in a number of areas including:
the anthropology of performance and peace-building, paradigms in the theoretical development of sociocultural anthropology, and ethnographic research methods.- A research focus on the anthropology of performance

Record of publication of highquality research outputs (commensurate with career stage)
Evidence of independent contribution in research projects and outputs
Evidence of scholarly activity e.g. conference papers, book reviews, involvement in national and international scholarly networks
Evidence of ability to contribute to teaching in the area of anthropology of performance, along with teaching in key areas of anthropological theory and methods.
