Job summary:
As the UK's regulator for the energy industry, Ofgem works on behalf of energy consumers to ensure that every household and business in the UK can rely on a safe, secure and environmentally sustainable energy supply.
As a Digital Trainer, the role will play a vital part in sharing essential digital skills to ensure staff can build their confidence within their role and beyond.
You'll provide high quality professional training in virtual and face to face settings, delivering skills training packs and sessions, and supporting the creation of new material and e-learning resources.
This will involve creating regular tips and tricks content and offering drop in sessions, whilst also providing support to leadership on how to manage changing needs and requirements.
As part of your role, you'll be assisting members of the organisation with areas such as device setup, the management of files through cloud systems, cybersecurity and preparedness for potential risks, and digital communication.
This high profile and front line technical role will require a trainer with strong knowledge of IT systems, excellent verbal and written communication and coaching skills and an enthusiasm for helping others to become the best they can be.
You will need to assess the training needs and learning aims of the organisation, and provide support and feedback to help further development.

Job description:
This roles have been created because by our Digital Services team and will create and deliver digital skills training packs & sessions for employees (new and existing) on basic digital skills and the role will support the creation of training material for new Digital Services on an ongoing basis.
This is an exciting opportunity as and IT trainer within the Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) professionals, to work as part of an established and expanding team.
A key, high profile and front-line technical role, the primary purpose of which is for the post holder to use a range of skills including technical knowledge, communication, enthusiasm and coaching skills to build capability of colleagues across the authority bydelivering high quality, professional technical training within a virtual or face-to-face setting.
