Goods In/Stores Assistant
39 hours per week

  • Monday/Thursday 7:15am4:30pm Friday 7:30am11:30am

Salary:
£22k-£23k


Reporting to:
Stock / Parts Control Manager (warehouse, where all the stock is kept)
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our tight knit team in Redditch. The UK's leading Bendi Forklifts, Articulated Forklifts and VNA Forklift Specialists.


Job Role:


  • Checking/booking in all deliveries that come through
  • Unpacking all goods in, counted and checked off delivery note
- updating inhouse system

  • Despatching of stock, completing necessary paperwork
  • Logging Service Exchange products and their locations
  • Assisting with Motor Refurb
- cleaning/identifying products, adding repair numbers

  • Relaying any queries to suppliers
  • Ensure correct locations of stock inhouse
  • Picking kits for Product Completion, using drawings, delivering kits to specified fitters
  • Picking kits for Engineer Starters i.e. new tools, consumables, parts kit, uniform
  • Day to day correspondence i.e. customer quotations, service quotations and engineer calls
  • Processing Warranty claims
  • Assisting with the Paint department and ensuring stock levels replenished
  • Assist on Counter with and/or all fitters, services engineers, office staff, delivery drivers and customers
  • Van audits
- twice yearly

  • Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to every day. Log all hazardous waste receipts, and dispose of safely.

Requirements:


Skills/Expertise:


  • Experience of working in a stores/goods in role, ideally within a manufacturing environment (automotive, large parts)
  • License in Bendi, Counterbalance or Reach (training can be provided after initial weeks)
  • Be selfmotivated and use own initiative
  • Flexible and ability to adapt to change
  • Keen eye for detail
