The National Data Resource (NDR) supports a Healthier Wales by delivering All Wales health and social care data capabilities in a governed, secure, and ethical manner.


We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Senior Product Specialist to support the development and delivery of the National Data Resource Programme - a high priority strategic imperative for Health and Care in Wales.


  • Act as Liaison between the Health Board and the Central Programme Function
  • Represent the Health Board at appropriate forums.
  • Undertake Leadership role for Data Technologies
  • Engage & Maintain Relationships with 3rd Party Suppliers as well as internal stakeholders
  • Maintain overall management of the Health Board's involvement with the NDR Programme
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

As the Senior Product Specialist, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the projects and tasks of the wider programme within the local health board, whilst coordinating efforts with peers across Wales health and care organisations.

You will report to the local leadership team in conjunction with the national Programme Lead.
