As a Print & Mailroom Assistant, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other forms of correspondence within an organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving and Sorting
- Receive incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
- Sort and categorize items based on their destination or department
Run print jobs and deliver to end user
- Use various binding techniques as required
- Deliver mail and packages to the appropriate offices, departments, or individuals
- Use mail & print room equipment (such as weighing scales, labeling machines, guillotines, etc) to handle items efficiently
- Maintain inventory levels of office supplies, including boxes, envelopes, and labels
- Stock and replenish copy paper, printer supplies, and other essentials
- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with tracking outgoing shipments and maintaining logs
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Pack and ship items as needed
- Provide courteous service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors
- Serve as an informational resource regarding mailroom procedures
QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Familiarity with mail methodology and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word)
- Ability to operate mailroom tracking software
- Physical capability to lift and move packages (up to 25kg)
